Trinity Theatre Group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering 4th- 8th grade students in economically disadvantaged NYC communities through the transformational power of theatre.

Through our after school program, Trinity Players, we leverage the transformative power of theatre, with a focus on Shakespeare, to elevate literacy, enhance social-emotional development, and cultivate positive family dynamics.

Our Founding Executive Director

Psacoya Guinn is a professional actor, seasoned teaching artist, and entrepreneur dedicated to using theater as a transformative tool. She has brought theatre education to diverse groups through her work with prestigious organizations such as The Kennedy Center, New York Children's Theatre, and Co/Lab Theatre Group. Recognizing a gap in NYC's arts education landscape, Psacoya founded Trinity Theatre Group to address the lack of literacy and emotional well-being found in students from economically disadvantaged communities.

Psacoya holds an M.S.Ed in Education Entrepreneurship from The University of Pennsylvania. Her contributions to the arts education and entrepreneurship field have been recognized with the Jacobs Foundation Education Impact Prize, and she is a Jacobs Foundation Social Entrepreneur Fellow and a 4.0 Tiny Fellow. In her spare time, Psacoya enjoys all things theatre and stays active with Peloton.
